AI and Leadership: What Leaders Need to Get Right When the Options Feel Endless

What is the most requested keynote topic at events right now?
AI, of course.

Every week, I get a few inquiries through my website asking if I’m available to speak on this topic.

Event planners are drawn to the way I blend practical ideas with storytelling, shaped by my experience as a leader, entrepreneur, and CEO, along with lessons from my wildlife photography.

Here’s what I’ve observed:

Very few people are talking about what leadership looks like when the options feel endless.

That is where the real conversation is.

AI can speed things up, generate ideas, and reshape how work gets done. I use it every day.

It can also create confusion. More choices. More noise. More pressure to chase what is new before getting clear on what actually matters.

The question is not just, “How do we use AI?”

It is, “How do we lead when the possibilities keep multiplying?”

That is the idea behind a keynote I just created that brings together AI, leadership, and the central idea from my book, The Unexpected Power of Boundaries.

My belief is simple: boundaries are not what hold innovation back. They are what help people focus, make better decisions, and take smarter risks.

At a time when everyone is chasing more, leaders may need to get better at defining what matters, what doesn’t, and where human judgment still carries the most weight.

That is the work.

If this is a conversation your audience is already starting to wrestle with, I’d love to bring it to your stage. Let’s talk.
