As the founder and CEO of Avenue M Group, a multi-million-dollar research and consulting agency, Sheri has collected more than one million data points across industries including healthcare, accounting, education, financial services, manufacturing, technology, and professional services. Her work focuses on helping leadership teams answer critical questions: How do we empower our teams? How do we strengthen our capacity for change? And how do we encourage innovation without sacrificing stability?

A three-time best-selling author, Sheri has written extensively on leadership, innovation, and organizational change, including The Unexpected Power of Boundaries: Rethinking the Rules, Risks, and Real Drivers of Innovation. Her insights bridge research and real-world execution, helping organizations move innovation from ideas into action.

As an experienced leadership and culture keynote speaker, Sheri has delivered more than 300 keynotes and workshops worldwide for associations, franchises, Fortune 500 companies, and start-ups. Audiences value her ability to translate complex challenges—risk, experimentation, and change—into clear frameworks leaders can apply immediately.

Outside of her professional work, Sheri is an avid marathoner, having completed 18 races, including three Boston Marathons. She has coached with Girls on the Run, was named the Chicago Area Runners Association’s Marathon Coach of the Year, and actively supports philanthropic and volunteer leadership efforts.

A passionate photographer, she captures wildlife and landscapes around the world, bringing curiosity and perspective into both her creative and professional work.
